Overview
On October 13, 2022, a project permit was issued to the Upland Owner at 4776 Eastridge Road, District of North Vancouver (Applicant) to develop a new recreational dock at 4776 Eastridge Road in the District of North Vancouver, British Columbia on federal lands and waters managed by the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority.
The project was approved subject to 46 permit conditions the Applicant must meet to ensure the project does not result in significant adverse environmental effects. Please see the Impact Assessment Act Registry for the Notice of Intent and Notice of Decision.
About the project
The Project is an installation of a new recreational dock at 4776 Eastridge Road, District of North Vancouver, B.C.
The Project includes the following features:
- Approximately 2.5 square metre concrete abutment on bedrock (upland) consisting of two rock pins to support and connect to the aluminum trestle.
- Approximately 9 metre long by 1.8 metre wide aluminum trestle (between abutment and gangway) along foreshore to be supported by two 356mm in diameter steel piles that will be fixed to a concrete footing at their bases.
- Approximately 18 metre long by 1.8 metre wide aluminum gangway that is supported by the steel piles and connects the trestle with the moorage float.
- Approximately 30 square metre moorage float (dock) on the water
