Overview
On February 17, 2023 a project permit was issued for a New Dock Installation at 317 Sasamat Lane, North Vancouver, British Columbia, in federal water managed by the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority.
The project was approved subject to 35 permit conditions that the applicant must meet to ensure the project does not result in significant adverse environmental effects. Please see the Impact Assessment Act Registry for the Notice of Intent and Notice of Decision.
About the project
The proposed project is for an installation of a new recreational dock at 317 Sasamat Lane in North Vancouver
The proposed dock includes the following features:
- Approximately 0.7 metre concrete column with a 1.2 square metre landing on bedrock (upland) that would connect to the aluminum access ramp
- Approximately 15 metre long by 1.2 metre wide aluminum access ramp (between landing and float) with wheels that would ride in guides on the float.
- Approximately 30 square metre moorage float (dock) on the water supported in place by concrete mooring blocks and galvanized chain.
