We are currently working with the City of Port Moody to develop a potential designated anchorage area to manage boats that are currently moored in Port Moody Inlet.
CONSULTATION
Port Moody recently held a town hall on April 29, 2015 to gather feedback on the proposed project.

- access to and within the Designated Anchorage Area.

- maintenance standards for any recreational vehicles within the Designated Anchorage Area.
- removal of any boats (derelict, in trespass or otherwise) from the Designated Anchorage Area.
- patrolling and monitoring for compliance.
- removing boats or vessels that anchor within any part of the no anchorage area.
- removing derelict boats, derelict vessels, debris and items that may affect navigation.
- raising awareness with boaters that they are not allowed to anchor in the area.
- making information about the no anchorage area widely available by reasonable means.
